Day 90-5: Moving Days

Moving sucks. Plain and simple. It has been awhile since I checked in here, mostly because ive been moving a long with all the other stuff I have going on now, its hard to play games now a days which is a good and bad thing. I warned everyone reading my blog that I could go AWOL for a few days and that is exactly what happened.

I moved in on Saturday, Saturday was an interesting day to say the least. Moved in the morning, went to an anniversary of a brewery my group of friends frequents. That was a good time. Went out to dinner and then I came back and tried to unpack a little, enough to go to sleep.

Sunday, most of the day was spent unpacking. I watched Barcelona win the league title, and spent the next few hours unpacking boxes and getting everything situated. I dont have a lot of stuff, but I make up for that in electronics. So getting my room and electronics in order is no quick task.

Of course I was sleeping at the new place, but no internet means that the house is not “livable”. So until we got internet my Xbox One and TV weren’t moving anywhere. I was able to play a little on Monday thanks to the rain I didn’t have kickball. It seems like it has rained everyday for about 2 weeks straight now. Luckily it hasn’t rained on Tuesday or Thursday much, so soccer is still a go. Tuesday after work was soccer and moving all my electronics and getting them set up for instant access when internet became available.

Wednesday I had to go to the store and make dinner, then went to a friends, so gaming didn’t happen at all that day. I got home later than I probably should as I had to take my roommate to the airport Thursday (today) morning at 4:30 am. Yeah, thats AM. So I went into work early after coming back to get ready so I got off around an hour earlier than I normally do.

Thursday is soccer as well, ran about 8 miles over 2 hours and my legs are really feeling the pain right now. Tomorrow is going to be sore city, it gunna be bad.

So now for the gaming. Over the last few days I’ve been slowly picking away at Battlefield Hardline. I’ve been cleaning up the mission specific achievements and got a few on Monday, followed by a few today. They aren’t all that difficult per say, so I should be able to get all of the side stuff. I’ll probably end up mailing it back after I get those done because I don’t want to play through another 2 times on increasing difficulties because I played on Cadet the first time through, especially with non-skipable cutscenes even if you’ve seen them before, which is really dumb. Its one thing if you don’t want people to skip because you want to tell them a story, its another to make them watch the story when they have already seen it once, at least.

I finally not another achievement in Age of Empires: Castle Siege. I got to the 8th age! Now I am looking at an achievement for upgrading all civ unique troops,  win another 50-75 crowns for 2000, and complete 3 historic battles. This game will still take a bunch more time as research takes forever when you are getting to upgrading level 3 to level 4,

I am litterally about to fall sleep,
