Day 101: Draw a Crappy Star

Today I thought I would have a lot more time to sit down and play games than I did. I got off work later than expected, had to run by my apartment and clean stuff up/pick up some stuff. Then worked out, made dinner, friends came over and hung out, and by the time that was over I had about 0 minutes to play games.

I wasn’t happy with that allotment, so I decided to make time for games which meant spending about 10 minutes with Unmechanical to see if I could get an achievement. The good news is I got an achievement, the bad news is I didn’t make any progress in the story as I am confused where to go next, and I also might have screwed myself out of an achievement because I was tired and pressing buttons all over the place and accidentally pressed Y. I quit to the main menu when I realized, but it started saving on the main menu so I “dashboarded”, i guess we can still call it that right? But I don’t know if I got it in time, I hope so.

As I was trying to figure out where to go, I ran into the area where you have a draw a star for an achievement. I was a bit confused since in order to draw a proper star, the panels just aren’t set up in such a way. After a bit of fiddling, I decided to look online on TA to see what the solution was. The achievement picture has a perfect star, or pentagram. The one you make in the game for the achievement, is like the ugly cousin of the perfect pentagram. It was a stretch, but hey got the achievement. Farted around a bit more trying to find the next area and pressed Y again, so I dashboarded and called it a day.

In about a day ill be ready to start training Level 4 unique civilization troops on Age of Empires: Castle Siege. The game is just a massive time sink, it is absolutely ridiculous. I don’t know how much time it takes to upgrade one troop to level 4, my guess is 7 days, so its going to be over a month before this game is finally completed… Since getting the crowns achievement, I’ve been slowing down on attacking, that and my wood resource is near the max waiting for the upgrade on the building to train those troops is done.I’m interested to see how long each upgrade takes and how many pennants/wood it takes. I think i’ll be ok on both as I walk through them, but that is the only thing I am a bit worried about. Really pennants more than anything. My guess will be 7,500 pennants and 750k wood. We will see if I’m close/right.

That is it for me.

Enjoy!
