Well lets hope not, this is Barcelona’s year, but holy crap what an amazing game. Now full disclosure, I am talking about soccer (football), and I didn’t watch any of the game, but followed it until I saw the penalty. Then I knew it was over. I checked it later and sure enough PSG found an equalizer while playing most of the game with 10 men. Unbelievable. I have to say, it was awesome seeing Chelsea get knocked out, but I know they will win the League now, so they are at least going to get one more trophy.
So now for gaming. I have taken a liking to Age of Empires on the phone, so I’ve been doing my best to check in on that every now and then to collect my resources and upgrade things. I got caught for a little bit on things I upgraded probably out of order, but in the end I don’t know if it matters too much. When I wake up tomorrow, I’ll be able to upgrade to Age III, just to give you an idea where I am at. 10/200 GS for the game too.
Make it Rain is just ridiculous at this point. I might be doing it wrong, but I promise I am in the final stretch of this game. I am at 80 KBB looking to get to 125 I believe to get the last achievement related to overall money. I still need the 100,000 swipes, which is going to be a bit odd when I don’t really need the money. So I guess i’ll just swipe for a little every now and then when I’m bored and ill eventually get it.
So, I finally got my Gamefly game this week, Screamride. I think it took 8 days to get from Kansas City, MO to Austin, TX which is absolutely ridiculous. There are not very many games out right now, so I am kinda tempted to cancel, but ill keep it for now, and ill probably end up keeping it just at 1 game at a time. The game is interesting. There are three phases to each “world?” I guess. You pilot the rollercoaster, you destroy things, and you build things (roller coaster, engineer). I have completed the first “world” with the pilot phase. I have all the accommodations you can get for that part. The second part my roommate who was watching me play described it as Angry Birds but slower. Which is kinda true, you basically have to let a ball go at the right time and hit targets spread around. The first level of the first world you have 6 tries to hit 6 targets, but at least one of the times you can combo two targets for one throw pretty easily. I have read reviews that the achievements and game are pretty difficult, so we will see how this goes. If you have any tips will free to throw them my way. I enjoyed the first section and I think I understand the second better. The build levels don’t really bother me too much because I can probably use a guide for them. Guides won’t be helpful for the other two phases of the game. I should get a little more time with this tomorrow, and hopefully even more time on Friday through the weekend.
That is it for me.
