After work I got back on the GTA 5 train. The achievements are slow going in this game, but at least its fun? I played a few hours and got like 30 points. Woo hoo..
The story in GTA is pretty stellar so far, each of the characters have their specific traits… Trevor is well… rough around the edges. He is a pretty sick dude, but pretty fun to play missions for. He is a no-nonsense type of person, aka, ill blow everything you own up if you wrong me. Its perfect for a GTA game. Just the right amount of crazy. I know that GTA is probably old hat by now, but hey, at least I went back to it. I deserve some credit for that right?
While streaming on my twitch channel, Griffey95 notified me of something interesting. Dead or Alive 5: Last Round’s demo version unlocks achievements. What? A non-free free game that unlocks achievements? Sweet! Sign me up. You have been warned though, its only available for a limited time and there is a 100 online matches to win. Good luck. I believe in you.
Obviously the elephant in the room is Make It Rain, its a very large elephant that is very angry and really loves to play with my emotions. You see, the more you make, the more the game wants to screw you over. I swear it seems like every 5 minutes i get one of those spin the wheel which means your most likely going to get screwed over. I had a nice run of those guilty rulings which took my $$$/second down to about a 3rd of what it once was which was really annoying. So I knew what I had to do, I needed to change my strategy. You see the guilty ruling, seizures, and pleas take your money and the $$$/second, but the money you have per hour in your bucket is protected. So I started investing in the size of the bucket and the rate it gets filled. It seems to be working a little better now. I finally got into the next step in the game, generating MBs quickly. I did get an achievement in the game today, I guess its my lucky day that it actually synced with Xbox Live.
I believe that is it for today.
